The “’Tribute in Light”“ memorial is in remembrance of the events of September 11, 2001, in honor of the citizens who lost their lives in the World Trade Center attacks. The two towers of light are composed of two banks of high wattage spotlights that point straight up from a lot next to Ground Zero. The “Tribute in Light”“ memorial was first held in March 2002. I haven’t been feeling great the last couple days, so I’m not really in a mood to blog right now, but I figured I should at least post something.

Like Pearl Harbor, today is a day that should live in infamy.. not become just another day, 8 years later.  Don’t just sing platitudes of “I remember”, or “I will never forget” each year on this date… remember the pain, remember the impact, not just that it was a day of terrorist attacks.

I will most certainly not forget, and while I believe in forgiveness, I will never in this case. I will always carry this hatred of these enemies, to the day I die.  To those cowards that hide in those caves and mountains -> You just thank “Allah” that I am not in charge, in the oval office.  We’ve got a lot of stockpiled high-yield weapons in our country, and I wouldn’t want them to go to waste now.
