I’ve been really busy lately, and kept meaning to post on this, but better late than never! So here we go…
It’s that time a year again folks! The meet-up of bloggers, blog readers, and SYLG groupies in the Southeastern PA area.
Wanna be with cool kids? Then come on down to Cheeseburger in Paradise this Saturday!! You know you wanna do it!
So far in attendance we have: BadIdeaGuy, Bitter, Captain America, Danny the Man, Geek With A .45, Ian Argent, Jeff T, Mike W, Mrs. Crankipants, Old NFO, Robert B, RT, Sebastian, Smite (me), The Bitter American, and alphabetically last by not least Wyatt himself. That’s an older attendance list from mid-April, so there’s probably more now.
Further details, maps links, etc. at SLYG.
Just FYI – The blog site will likely be experiencing some temporary outages over this weekend, as I move the site to a new server.
It shouldn’t be noticed though, as the site will be uploaded on the new server first, being a mirror image before the DNS propagation is made.
EDIT 2010.04.18 17:00 – Qapla’!! looks like we’re good to go! Still looking around making sure nothing is missing, but so far all the database tables, plugins and uploaded image content appears to be here.
So yeah, i’ve been busy lately, haven’t been posting. I’m up in New Hampshire, doing electrical/plumbing/HVAC projects on a house my friend’s sister bought.
I do have a laptop, and 3G connectivity on the ‘Now Network’, but it’s doubtful I’ll be making any blogging posts for another the next week or so, though there might be an occasional random thought or mobile picture upload from my phone.
I’m out in south-east New Hampshire, very close to the shore, near Massachusetts, and literally on the border with Maine.
It’s very beautiful out here, but if one more damned New Englander says ‘wicked’ to me, I’m gonna smite ‘em!
Bitter is setting up a Philly-area blogger meet! The gathering is scheduled for Sunday, July 26th at 1pm at Cheeseburger in Paradise in Langhorne, PA. It’s easy to get to, and is close to Route 1 and I-95 (right across the Oxford Valley Mall, in the same circle as the mall).

ok so I brought the blog back, only to have fudged up the database file for it a month or so after starting again.
I should be able to reconstruct it again, but it wasn’t a whole lot of blog posts to really make it worth the effort, so I’ll probably just start fresh again. I do still have the database backup for my blogging form 2004 to around late 2007 or so, and will be adding it in a seperate archive area for viewing very soon.
More to follow…
